Pencampwr Long Weekend

This long weekend saw the annual gathering of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) at Wandi for the Pencampwr Championship Camping Weekend. One of the largest yet, there was lots going on with swordfighting tournaments, feasts, pitched battles (with over twenty fighters a side), tavern nights, archery tournaments and arts and sciences classes.
The Abertridwr Pencampwr Championship was won by another interstate traveller again this year, but “Griffin” as he is known, is an expatriot Perth-ite and will do us proud, carrying the fame of Abertridwr far and wide.
